Compost Testing Site Inaugurated on top of South Dade Landfill

On June 3, 2026, Fertile Earth delivered the first load of source-separated food scraps to a Miami-Dade County landfill composting pilot, marking a significant milestone in the county’s effort to divert organic waste from disposal and create beneficial soil products.
