Help Us Protect Our Farms

Our quest for transparency while we attempt to help Miami Dade County reinvent waste management continues!!

#FreeTheCompost originated in defense of laws that were being drafted that would be devastating for local farms and effectively shut down composting in Miami Dade.

After the latest Commissioner's Meeting in July, we are now reorganizing and requesting that you join our mailing list and be on standby, as we learn what changes the commissioners will propose in September.

As Miami-Dade County's leading composting farm, our team of regional, national, and international experts has made it clear that we are available and ready to help craft legislation that would benefit our entire community, however, as of today, we are still in the dark about what surprises may be coming down the pike.

NEW COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Introducing our latest collaboration!

A sizeable percentage of the soil that we create (from our residential composting program with the Village of Pinecrest), is now going to help renovate sections of the Everglades directly inside Miccosukee Indian Reservations. The new program is called the Everglades Earth Cycle.

• To Create organic, living soil for future generations of South Floridians

• To Divert organic matter from the waste stream and repurpose it to benefit our community.

These are the forward-looking companies trailblazing the way to a greener future for South Florida

Together we have diverted tens of millions of pounds of surplus food away from landfills, and put it to use regenerating our community.

Companies are surprised to find out that that in some cases, composting actually LOWERS their waste management budget.
