Community Compost Hubs: Phase Two

Everglades Earth Cycle

Introducing Phase Two of our residential composting program: The Everglades Earth Cycle Project. This is an ambitious partnership between Fertile Earth Worm Farm, the Village of Pinecrest, the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians, and the Love the Everglades Movement.

This project is funded from multiple sources and builds on the success of our first residential composting program and will: 1) Expand pick-up sites. 2) Expand the educational component, and 3) provide our partners at the Miccosukee Tribe organic soil to help restore critical Everglades ecosystems.

Expansion Areas:

  • SEVEN (7) more 24/7 compost drop-off stations will be installed throughout Miami. (Map coming soon)
