Come join us at Fertile Earth Worm Farm for a fun-filled day of working on the Earth and an informative workshop led by one of Miami-Dade's composting experts.

Spooky Soil Science: Halloween Vermiculture Workshop

A delightfully creepy dive into the world of composting worms! Discover how these wiggling decomposers transform food scraps into black gold, meet our Red Wigglers up close, and learn to start your own worm bin at home. Kids will love the "gross but cool" factor while learning real science. Costumes encouraged!

Bring your hat and bottle of water and be ready to get dirty. Parents do not have to pay.

Yoga 9 - 10AM

Volunteer Garden Hours: 10 - Noon

Creepy Workshop: 12 - 1PM

* Fee is waived for volunteers, kids under 12,  and anyone dressed up like a worm
